QUALITY SUPPLEMENT FEEDS TO KEEP YOUR LIVESTOCK GOING

When grass isn't growing or when you need supplementary animal feed, our quality and value for money feeds will keep your livestock going.

The feed we provide is either grown and baled by us, or we use quality suppliers from around the country. Our stocks includes maize silage, grass silage, lucern silage, lucern hay, meadow hay, pea vine hay, barley straw, wheat straw, and pea vine straw.

We randomly test feed bales for quality - they must pass our high standards before we will sell them.

This includes high values in crude protein, soluble sugars and starch, fibre, fat, in vitro organic matter digestibility, metabolisable energy (ME), and silages as additional quality indicators.

The ME in the supplementary feeds we supply is around the 10%-12% mark. Around 8% or less shows poor quality, which unfortunately is prevalent in some of the cheaper feeds on the market.
